School Is Out, But Hunger Doesn't Take a Summer Break

For many students, summer break means fun, relaxation, and time with family. However, for thousands of children across North Carolina, it also means losing access to the free breakfast and lunch programs they rely on during the school year.

To help fill that gap, Josie's Blessing in a Box is taking our mission on the road this summer with the Josie's Blessing in a Box Mobile Pantry. Thanks to the support of our volunteers and donors, we have packed 20 boxes filled with child-friendly foods to distribute throughout the Triad area.

Our goal is simple: ensure that no child goes hungry simply because school is out of session.
