Celebrating Inclusion at the Special Olympics Dinner

Josie recently had the honor of attending the Special Olympics Dinner for athletes and their families at Clermont Free Will Baptist Church. The evening was a wonderful celebration of determination, achievement, and the incredible spirit of Special Olympics athletes. (Facebook)

Adding to the excitement were special guests Lug Nut, the mascot of Charlotte Motor Speedway, and Boomer, the mascot of the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers. Athletes and families enjoyed meeting the mascots, taking photos, and sharing in an evening filled with laughter and encouragement. (Instagram)

"One of my favorite parts of serving as Miss Cabarrus County is supporting organizations that create opportunities for everyone to shine," Josie shared. "The joy, perseverance, and positivity displayed by these athletes are truly inspiring."

Events like this remind us that inclusion matters and that every individual deserves to be celebrated for their unique talents and abilities. Josie's Blessing in a Box is proud to support and encourage organizations that build stronger, more inclusive communities throughout North Carolina.

Thank you to Clermont Free Will Baptist Church, the volunteers, families, athletes, and special guests who made this evening so memorable.
